The folks at 5 star auto were great! I scheduled an appointment online, and they called the next day to confirm with me. Ellen and Ryan were so nice as I was dropping off my car for loud engine noises. Ellen called me later and let me know what they found and talked me through a few different options for fixing it. Pricing was fair, and service was very good. I'm fairly new to Lexington, and have tried a few different shops, but I'll definitely be coming back here!

Ryan went above and beyond, coming to the house to start my car after a boost by AAA followed by appropriate time letting the motor run failed to make it able to restart. Discovered problem with the starter as well as with one of the battery cables and replaced both. Work done in good time and at what I considered reasonable cost. This has become my go to place for auto maintenance and repair.

This has become my go to place for auto maintenance and repair. 09/2020 I took my backup car that I seldom use in, expecting to have to replace both alternator and battery as that is what AAA test had shown. I had a little doubt about that as it had been starting each time after they jumped it but figured some sort of fluke. 5 Star retested, recharged battery and kept overnight, tested again and pronounced all fine. I had a little routine maintenance done while it was there but they could have told me much more was wrong. In addition the ladies in front were very friendly and knowledgeable and shuttled me back and forth.
