I've been going to 5 star for over two years now. They are reliable, honest, and invested in getting the job done right. Most recently, I took my jeep there after an accident. Another mechanic in town and a body shop couldn't find the issue,but the folks at 5-Star took the time to find and resolve the problem.

I had a great first time experience with 5 - Star Auto. I took my Buick Verano in because of a warning light and issues with acceleration. It took 2 days and they said that the fuel injector just needed to be cleaned. When they called Buick to ask for reccomendations after diagnostic testing, Buick told them to replace the fuel injector which they gave me a quote of close to 700$ if they had to remove and replace things. Instead they just clean the fuel injector and it been running smoothly for weeks. They did warn me that i may have to replace the fuel injector at some point, but theres no need if it working properly. So I wound up paying $148 for diagnostic service and calling it a day. I’d say thats a heck of a better deal then $700!

I was very impressed with how helpful and transparent the staff were. Additional suggestions during the process by the mechanic helped a custom project improve beyond expectations. I would recommend for anyone's exhaust requiring a weld.

Fit my car in and got the work done in exceptional timing. Very thorough. Great customer service and communication. Happy with the outcome and very reasonably priced.

I get “free” oil changes for the life of my vehicle at the dealership I purchased it from. But when I had a problem with my taillight and they couldn’t fix it, but they charged me and said it was fixed, I won’t ever go back to them. A few people at my office recommended 5 Star and they are all you could ask for in an Auto Repair Shop. If you are looking for honest, fair, competent and on schedule, I would highly recommend 5 Star. They go the extra mile for you and that makes a difference to me.

I was really impressed with how well everything was handled with 5-star. They explained everything in detail, did not make me feel like I was getting a run around, worked fast, and were nice the whole time. Best experience I've had with an auto shop by far. I even got a ride home and back to the shop when my car was ready! Thank you for making my repairs an easy experience, I will not hesitate to come back in the future or recommend the shop to friends.

I can't give this place any hate but their rates have, just like everyone else in Lexington, gone up.
